Alright, we all love ’em – Fries. And we know we shouldn’t. Here is an option that tastes better and is better for you! Indulge, but use portion control!
2 large potatoes
6 large carrots
1 sweet potato
1 tablespoon olive oil
salt, pepper and favorite spices – options include: Fennel Seed, Rosemary, Paprika, and Chili.
Peel the carrots and sweet potato. Cut all the roots in slices, make sure they are about the same size. Put on a flat layer on a cookie sheet. Add oil and spices and turn them with your hands so all the slices are covered. Cook in the oven for 30-45 mins at 400 degrees. Length in the oven depends on thickness of slices.
