Last night at the swim hall we were several ladies at the end chatting it up in the changing room. We all agreed that we felt so much better after our swim or just general exercise, but we found it hard to get motivated sometimes.
I wanted to create this page to gather up ideas of what really works for different people to get and stay motivated to get and stay in shape.
So, first idea, from the ladies last night!
Keep your gym or swim bag right by the door or in the car. That way you have no excuse not to go.
And one thing that really works for me – to work with other people and to set aggressive goals. I love the challenge of reaching a goal which is why this walk is so great at keeping me motivated. I have to be able to walk 10-15 miles before departure.
