Alright Guys, a page just for pictures.
Afternoon light in the desert.
Between Palmdale and Victorville I had the most amazing full moon. Seeing the moon in the sunset was stunning.
The sunsets remained a wonder. I am still between Palmdale and Victorville.
I am just a little bit proud of this picture. A Joshua Tree in front of that sunset.
The Joshua Trees were totally gorgeous. I have never seem them before and found them fascinating. Still between Palmdale and Victorville.
The Road Just Never Ends!
An abandoned house on Route 66 between Victorville and Barstow. I wondered about the people who lived there, the tears and laughter, and then, what happened?
An abandoned gas station on route 66. Reminding us of years gone by. Anyone remember when gas was only $1?
Another abandoned house on route 66. I noticed the remnants of a garden and a covered porch…….
Still making my way to Barstow
Route 66 has the bottle tree farm. Quite fascinating, art made in bottles and other old artifacts.
Dagget Post Office. Never seen a smaller post office. Population 1000. I guess not that small.
The camera isnt quite doing justice to the colors on those hills in the distance, it was gorgeous.
Well, I need to be better at taking pictures of, well, me. So, I am trying. Going in to Newberry Springs – it was quite a wind.
